QR Check-In Guide
Set up fast, fraud-proof door scanning for your event in minutes. No hardware, no apps to download, works offline.
Before the event: configure your door team
From your event dashboard, go to 'Staff & Scanners.' Add team members by email and assign them the 'Scanner Only' role. They will receive an invitation email with a link to the check-in app — they do not need a full organizer account.
Download the attendee list (optional offline backup)
The check-in app automatically caches your guest list when you open the event in it. But if you want a printed backup, export a CSV of your attendees from the 'Attendees' tab at any time.
Open the check-in app on the day
Visit tamashago.com/checkin or open the TamashaGo mobile app and tap 'Scan Tickets.' Select your event. The app loads your full attendee list and is ready to scan. No separate app download is required — it works in any modern browser.
Scan tickets at the door
Point the camera at the attendee's QR code (printed or on their phone screen). A green screen and a sound chime confirm a valid, first-time scan. Red indicates a duplicate or invalid ticket.
Monitor check-in in real time
The organizer dashboard shows a live check-in counter and percentage breakdown. You can see who has checked in, who hasn't, and filter by ticket type.
After the event: review the attendance report
Your post-event attendance report is available within 30 minutes. Download as CSV. The report includes check-in time, ticket type, and scanner ID — useful for venue capacity compliance and future event planning.
Tips for a smooth check-in
Any device works
iPhone, Android, iPad, or laptop. As long as it has a camera and a modern browser, it can scan.
Offline mode
The app pre-loads your attendee list so it works without internet. Scans sync automatically when connectivity is restored.
Multiple scanners
Run multiple scan stations simultaneously. All share the same live list — a ticket scanned at one door is immediately flagged as used at all others.
What to do with duplicates
A red screen means the ticket was already scanned. Ask the attendee for proof of purchase (the original confirmation email). Do not let them in until you verify with your dashboard.
